MeshTapFirmware Flasher

Install or update your MeshTap

Pick your device and firmware version, then flash each board over USB, straight from this page. Nothing to install.

1Choose your device and firmware
2Flash each board, one at a time

Your MeshTap has two boards. Flash both to the same version; the device warns you if they don't match.

TAPA

ESP32-S3
  1. Connect a USB-C cable to your MeshTap's TAPA port. Leave the TAPB port unplugged.
  2. Click Flash TAPA and pick the port that appears.

Keeps your settings and wardrive log.

TAPB

ESP32-C5
  1. Move the cable to the TAPB port. Leave the TAPA port unplugged.
  2. Click Flash TAPB and pick the port that appears.

Keeps your settings and device database.

?If something goes wrong
No port shows up, or it says “failed to connect”
Unplug the cable, plug it back in, and click Flash again. Close any other program or browser tab that might be connected to your MeshTap. If it still fails, try a different USB-C cable, since some are charge-only.
“Erase device?”
Leave it unchecked for a normal update. Erasing wipes your settings, wardrive log and device database.
After flashing
Your MeshTap restarts with the new firmware when flashing finishes. If it doesn't, turn it off and on with its power switch.
Which browsers work?
